Two more items which I should mention are these… during this mission trip, our IWC friends also worked on a construction project to help continue development of an outreach center which the Jelsava Baptist Church will be using to connect with the youth of the area. This was long, hard, hot work. These guys and gals built a bloc retaining wall in the back of the property and resurfaced / repaired some of the floors inside the building. Also, our Roma preacher friend, Matej Novy brought his family and they witnessed and sang to people all over the community. Matej preached several times during the week and saw many come to Christ. All in all, we feel this was a very successful mission where we had many victories and souls come to Christ in salvation.

Look Behind and Look Ahead
It’s here… 2024 started rather slowly and peacefully for my household. Heck, we didn’t even stay up until midnight. We usually do, but this New Year didn’t seem to have the luster of others over the last few years. I suppose Mrs. Dawn and I are really getting old(er) and not as concerned about the…
Old Time Revival Memories
Tonight, I was blessed to visit Davidson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church for a wonderful “first night” revival service. The pastor there, Corey Cummings, invited me and all our Gathering friends to attend. The revival preacher was Corey’s pastor from his youth, Bro. Don Franks. The evening started with a lovely add-a-dish meal that was awesome!…

We finally did it! Dawn and I got away for a full week’s worth of vacation. This may sound unreasonable to some of you, but it has been around 20 years – give or take – since we took a full week off. Yes, sure, we have taken two or three days here and there….
Sassy Doing the Crazy Run
Here is a short video clip from the backyard of our current abode where little Sassy enjoys running and playing. I am not sure if this is a common thing for little dogs but our dog back home, Candy the Eskie, did the same thing when she was a younger pup. They get excited and…
IAS – Challenges
To catch you up on what is happening with our efforts to get 3 new discipleship groups off the ground… I must say that it has been a challenge but we are moving along slowly. The “slow” part is what has been challenging me on a personal / spiritual level. I am just being honest…
Exploring Missions w/ Bert Harper, AFR

I have long been a listener and fan of the Harpers and this broadcast, which dives into the world of missions and missionaries. I never dreamed that I would have the…
