Today while I was in the city center of Brno looking for a shop where I could purchase a specific kind of printer ink, I came upon a neat experience. There were lots of little booths set up and a stage with people dressed in traditional garb singing what I assume to be holiday songs. They were in Czech so I can’t actually verify that! They did sound nice and they were playing instruments as well. It was a pleasant sight… and sound.
Yes, Christmas must be coming. This is the time of the year when I most miss home and family. This year I hope to keep a stiff upper lip and wade through the emotions with a little dignity… I’ll try anyway. Well, maybe if I mix and mingle with the holiday crowds more, it will help. We shall see. The photos below were actually taken with my little Nokia cell phone… so they aren’t the best quality. I hope you enjoy them anyway. Maybe as the season progresses, i will venture out with my better digital camera and snap a few pics.
