This article is a thank you and a reminder. First, I want to give sincere thanks to friends in Tennessee who gave a love gift of money to be used here in our ministry. They took up a love offering to help with some needs within our mission church. A large portion of the money went to buy children’s gifts and a gift bag full of basic need items and food. Most of the Roma families who worship in the church are struggling with financial burdens and this gift was very timely and needed. We did our best to get as many items as possible with the funds available. We bought whole chickens, some candy, fruit, bath soap and shampoo… and a few other items. We had enough to give the gift bags to 21 families who are connected to the church. The photo album below shows just a few photos of our gathering the things together and delivering them. I did not take very many pictures because I feel uneasy about displaying folks and would NEVER want to show anyone in a bad light or embarrass them. The photos which show people specifically were asked before I took them. To the dear Christian brothers and sisters who donated the money, God bless you and I am sure He will reward your generosity.
Dawn and I were helped by some friends from here in Brno to get things organized and delivered properly. It was a long day for sure but we received the bigger blessing for simply being obedient. Pavel, Eva, and Kveta… thank you for your help and sharing your love with the people of the church.
Now, for the reminder. You know… we cannot out give God. Right? using your resources for His Kingdom work will not go unnoticed. I believe that. Besides, how could any of us possibly give as much as He did when He sent His son, Jesus, so many years ago to become the greatest gift of all. Please never forget that powerful truth.
