Recently, a family that I know from the Czech Republic reached out to me to tell me about a powerful ministry effort that they have started. They are the Novy family. I worked alongside them in 2011 and 2012 in Brno, CZ and for an outreach effort in Jelsava, SK. Matej is the father of this faithful family, and he has been a preacher and traveling evangelist for many years. While I was living in Brno, CZ, he preached in a mission church that I helped with, led Bible studies, did street evangelism, cared for homeless people, and preached in jails and prisons.
I have not seen the work that they are now doing, but I know that he has a heart for the lost, hurting, and homeless. Please watch this video. Turn on the English captions.
Matej and his family are building a ministry called “Dům pomoci.” In English, it means “House of Help.” The following items are the main areas of focus for their ministry. Each one obviously has several activities or needs associated with it. I gathered the following information from their website:
I rarely ask my readers to consider making a donation to a work that I am not personally engaged in. However, I can say that I personally know this family and I believe that they will use funds to further the work that they are building. So, pray about it and make a donation – either large or small – to help them help needy people on the other side of the world. Visit their Facebook page or website listed below to find out how to contact them to make a donation. Plant the seed and see how God multiplies it… amen.
Here are links to their new website and Facebook page. Visit the sites to gather more information, read some success stories by people they have helped, and find a way to contact them if you wish to do so.
