Beautiful you ask? Yes, I believe that is an appropriate word to use. Last evening at our apartment we were blessed to host a joint gathering for persons who are interested in seeing the ministry to Roma people flourish and grow here in Brno. The picture shows the scene in the living room area of our flat where we all sat and discussed how we might work together to see our mission church become more unified and ready to move into a new chapter in it’s life and ministry.
Present were brothers and sisters from the Roma community, Joe and I who represent imb, Pavel and Eva who assist us in the ministry here, and a senior elder from Czech Baptist church here in Brno. As in any church or fellowship that is experiencing growing pains, occasionally we simply must sit down together and talk through how and why we do what we do. This way we can all stay focused on a common goal and that goal is to see people come to faith in Jesus and disciple them. Oh, and don’t get too tense about the “growing pains” comment. This is a perfectly normal part of any growing church and let’s face it… if we aren’t growing, then we are dying.
Please pray for us all as we seek to do the will of God here in Brno and serve the Roma community. May God smile upon what we do and how we do it… amen.
