Last night, we were blessed to have Dr. Lunawati Bennett share a devotional from the book of Joshua. Dr. Luna, as we refer to her, is a professor at Union University and is of Chinese descent. She is a natural teacher and loves to share God’s Word. She has also authored a few books and is working on another now. I have known her for a couple of years and she is always a joy to be around.
Regarding her survey of Joshua, she touched on lots of golden nuggets of information that she encouraged us to take with us, enriching our lives 🙂 As she moved along through the chapters of the book, here are some of the nuggets that she pointed out:
There were others, but these were the ones that came immediately to mind. Once again, I must brag on this little Gathering of fellow believers. I do belong to a church that holds my official membership, but this group is like a second spiritual family in many ways. It is more open, diverse, and welcoming than some churches I have been a part of. That is not a jab at traditional church. It is but a personal observation.
