We are off and running… so to speak! Our first meeting with the new “I Am Second” groups took place this past Thursday. The location was a dormitory style housing unit not too far from our primary ministry point here in Brno. Joe S. (my colleague) and Pavel K. (my Czech brother who translates for me), led this initial group. Our Roma moderators are Hugo and Aladar. This first meeting centered on the power and authority of the Bible.
Joe reported to me that the meeting went well and there were 3 or 4 new faces who came to this meeting. One person was certainly seeking information about how to know God in a deeper way. At this point, I will simply ask you to pray that this person will find answers through our group which will lead that person to a confident, saving relationship with Jesus. I am so thankful that this group was placed in a location which will allow our believer friends to be a blessing to many who would otherwise not hear the Good News. I am also thankful that our moderators for this group take this responsibility seriously and desire it to be successful. May the Lord bless our efforts and may He provide results which will glorify His son… amen.
