Some may not know that many years ago, Dawn and I were members of the Church at Sugar Creek. This was not long after we got married and just before I took the choir director position at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Yep, you (some of you) just discovered another new thing about me 🙂
Well, moving w-a-y forward to two nights ago, our wonderful ministry friends at Sugar Creek blessed us with the opportunity to share the ministry of CEF with the people who came to hear a special community thanksgiving, praise, and worship program. They also received a nice love offering for our benefit (CEF). THANK YOU to everyone who made a donation. THANK YOU to the pastors, staff, and congregation of Sugar Creek for affording us this opportunity.
The program consisted of the Sonshiners senior adult choir singing several lovely songs written by Dottie Rambo. During the break, I shared a bit about our ministry and urged people to partner with us to help us reach more children with the Gospel. Then, the Sugar Creek Gloryland Band played several lively numbers. As a matter of fact, I was able to record this short bit of music from my pew. It should give you an idea of what you missed 😉
I’ll also post some photos below from the evening. Again, thank you to our brothers and sisters at Sugar Creek and the other churches who joined us. Your generosity will help reach lots of kids with the saving Good News of the Gospel. Amen.
