Please read these verses and understand that if an unborn child was made by God Himself and you believe that God “is,” well… shouldn’t that innocent life have the right to live and reflect the image of his or her Creator – just as YOU do?
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
God, in Psalm 139:13-14
Yesterday, mainstream news people were having meltdowns of epic proportions. Some celebrate a “potential” victory while others weep and say that the world as we know it is crumbling beneath our feet. Allow me to exercise my freedom of speech and ask you a few thought provoking questions:
If you do not consider yourself a Christian person, then you may simply get mad about the questions I just asked you. That is you right, I suppose, to choose what to believe or how to behave. Yet, who is the voice of the unborn? That precious baby does not understand political jargon or even the reason why his or her mom might approve of such a horrible method of execution.
For those of us who do believe the Bible and have a relationship with the One and Only Creator God, isn’t it way past time for all of us to speak truth in love? We do not need to spue hateful rhetoric or exemplify mindless reaction. No, simply speak the truth as we know it, that God is the Author and Creator of life and all are precious in His sight. Remember how John the Baptist leaped in his mother’s womb when he was near the presence of the unborn Son of God – Jesus Christ! Both these unborn men had a vital role to play in the offer of redemption for a fallen world. I for one am thankful that their mothers understood the value of an unborn baby, loved them, and helped bring them into the world. Amen!
