It was a rainy day when we ventured to Prague to visit with our company friends at Stromovka Park in Prague. We knew that there might be a chance of a shower or two but we decided it was worth the drive with the hopes of visiting with some company folks… and we hoped to talk shop just a little bit. We were unfamiliar with the area of town where the park and meeting place was… but thanks to our trusty friend, Garmin… we made it there early. Unknown to us, the picnic and gathering got cancelled due to the dreary weather and cooler temps. When we found out, we decided to eat at the restaurant and afterwards we were invited to share some coffee and conversation with the Hatchell family. This was worth the trip and it was nice to get to know them a little better and remind them of how we first met… so long ago, in 2001. Anyway, here are just a few pictures that I took in the park.

I went to an old-fashioned gospel singing jubilee on Friday night. It was a wonderful event, filled with memories and joy. Many of the artists ministering to us were old friends and I traveled around and sang with many of them… oh, let’s say… over 20 years ago. This was during the years when I…
FamFun in Brownsville
There is nothing quite like a well appointed mancave. Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to visit my sister and her husband for a game night. We do this now and again and it is always a good time. Zbo and Tracy live close to Brownsville and Zbo’s mancave has a pool table, TV,…

Kindred Spirits @ Elevate Church
Last Sunday night, I was blessed to take part in a very special event. I joined my old friends to have somewhat of a reunion concert of the Kindred Spirits. The original “long-standing” group was made up of Dale & Christi Denning, Danny King, and myself. We traveled together for over 20 years, singing in…
Considering Christmas – 2022
It is Christmas Eve as I start writing this, around 11:55am, and I begin the process of attempting to put feelings into words on a digital piece of paper. This year as in many others, the business of life, ministry, and annoying health issues (actually, this part is new) have made me say more than…
New Life in Old Bones
Last night I was blessed to share in a special service that was designed to introduce a potential recovery church to Humboldt, TN. I say “potential” because it is still in the process of being vetted and approved by the association of churches that shepherds the property. The property is the old Maranatha Baptist Church…
